If you are new to Advanced level we suggest you to do the past-papers first and continue to search for the model papers. even if you are fresh to A/L you can do it when you finished doing past papers. It is no problem in practicing model papers. Because you have (good) enough time. But you have to understand something. By doing past paper completely with a good understanding in explanations of the concepts, you could able to score A . In addition to get extra 5 or 15 marks, there the model papers come.
Most of the students gets greedy and they just go for the model papers which give them some extra marks. But they don't practice the past papers well enough. So they loose most of their time and marks by being greedy. It's fully waste. Some model papers are out of syllabus and prtends like it's a good paper. actually it's not that.
So what you have to do is, first practice the past paper completely until you get the happiness (from meeting a need or reaching a goal)s. Then do model paper as you wish.

Ministry of Education, Srilanka for the general education have given the G.C.E (A/L) (model paper) for 2016 in Tamil medium for those students who are doing G.C.E (A/L) examinations this year.
